    Hi All

    I've integrated Addthis social sharing within fancybox.
    Changed to link shared to be the gallery page.

    Would like to accomplish the following:
    1. Need to ad a reference to the image shared since i'm sharing the gallery link

    Url should look something like:
    http://www.yourwebsite.com/gallery-which-is-shared/#image1

    2. Open the image shared automatically within fancybox on the website once the user clicks the shared link.

    So when http://www.yourwebsite.com/gallery-which-is-shared/#image1 gets clicked on, image1 gets loaded automatically on the page.

    Anybody knows how to accomplish that or any help will be most appreciated?

    Regards,
    Charl

    Hello,
    I have the same problem.
    It worked but something append and it's gone...
    Now it automatically opens the first pic of my gallery even if there's an #ID in the end of the url !
    There's an option in settings -> medias, for easy fancybox that allow you to link a image/video/file with an ID, it's called auto-open.
    Try that and you have to place id="fancybox-auto".

    I can't assure it to you anymore as it doesn't work anymore :/

    Look at my WS, click on a image and there'll be a link "URL".

    Hi charicfc, for point 2 you need to do this:
    - give each image link a unique ID
    - put this code in a text widget (or in footer.php) :

    <script type="text/javascript">
    window.onload = function() {
        if(window.location.hash) {
            jQuery(window.location.hash).trigger('click');
        }
    };
    </script>

    From now on, appending the page URL with #ID will make the image with that ID open automatically. See an example (with PDF's not images, but the principle remains the same) on http://demo.status301.net/easy-fancybox-sandbox/pdf-embeds/#link1

    Hope you're now one step closer to what you want ;)

    Hi jerominrebatet

    Can you please tell me which plugins you used on the following website gallery:
    http://www.starbasket.fr/photos-des-camps/camps-2011/la-baule-3/

    Are you using the nextgen gallery + fancybox plugins?

    Also, which social buttons code plugin are you using on your fancybox modal?

    Does #2076 get added by the nextgen plugin or is that custom code which does that?

    Thanks,
    charlcfc
