    Hello all,
    It seems to me that many families are in a similar situation as my own. I would like to set up a blog system for my family. I am the only one in my family that is capable of doing this. WordPress seems great but it is missing two features that would make this very easy. 1. An easy way to add/manage photos. 2. management of multiple blogs.
    I would like to be able to set up a blog for each of my family members but manage them centrally.
    I was wonderig if there were currently plans to impliment either of these features and if so how I could help.

    I know there’s talk of having a multiple blog feature, but so far it’s not here.

    what great ideas!! i second them…as somebody with family all over the world, it would be wonderful to do… you could in the meantime jus give yer family members permissions on your blog and all write to the same one… they may have to rely on you to put the images in for them in the meantime 🙂

    I run my family blog and use multiple programs. I just recently built our blog with wordpress and I really enjoy it. For photos, I’m using Gallery. I really recommend these two, both were easy to install and simple to maintain. Gallery does all the work for you, allowing you to upload through the browser, ftp, or stand alone program. I also installed a address book script that will allow us to share family addresses, password protected of course. As for multiple blogs, I figure I’m the only one who will do anything with our site so I’ll do all the blogging. In the future if anyone wants to blog, I’ll make them a user and give them the ability to post.
