Auto update to 3.1.1 from 3.1. All went well until it failed becuse it couldn't write a .css file.
Now every link takes me to the page saying it is in maintenance mode...
WTH?
Fail install locks me out of my WP?
Help please.

You need to delete .maintenance file that a hidden file and then update manually
