All was going well, with my first website almost finished, now I get this error message and am unable to access WordPress or the site - please help - "Warning: require(/home/wlth4g/public_html/network2success.info/wp-includes/compat.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/wlth4g/public_html/network2success.info/wp-settings.php on line 246"

re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress 2.9. Or try upgrading to 2.9.1.

Posted 2 years ago #Hi Esme, thanks for your response - I don't think I can upgrade to 2.9.1. because I can neither access the site or the wordpress dashboard. So I have tried copying the files above from another web site using FileZilla but still have the same message when I try and access the site. I might have messed up the file transfer, 'cause I dont really know what I'm doing. More help please!!! Ta Kerry
