Dear WordPress dev's,
At the moment I'm struggling with a website that won't import attachments. Uploads is 777 and the funny thing:
It downloads, puts it in uploads, then removes the file and says 'failed to import'.
What can this be? I'm trying to find out what the problem is for a few hours now...
Have you checked your server's error logs for clues?

I'm trying to get it from the hoster now... Life can be so hard :o

They can't find anything in the logs... How does WordPress Import work? Does it need allow_url_fopen?
