Facebook Sharing Issues

I’ve had this issue for a while and am getting a bit frustrated trying to figure it out.
It seems that the image field used for the wootumblog plugin when posting a post is different than that of a standard post. The problem is that any time I try to set up an automatic “post to facebook” plugin, it can never find the image, and when the post is made on facebook, it either uses the default wordpress image, or the site’s banner image. I cannot get any auto-post to facebook to use the actual image in the post.
Some plugins ask for a specific meta tag. Right now, I’m attempting to use the “Social Networks Auto Poster” plugin, which has a field for an “alternative featured image location.” It asks for a custom field name or custom field prefix, but I have no idea where to find those.
Can anyone here help? I just want my site to auto-post the posts I make to my facebook page.
