Facebook says this plug in will break soon. Is it going to be updated?

I am getting messages from Facebook that the Like Send plugin is going to be broken by the upcoming changes.

I don’t see a new update.
Is facebook wrong — i.e. they are incorrectly detecting the plugin as fragile.
Or, is there a fix coming soon?
Or, is the plugin just end-of-life and I need to look elsewhere?
