    Hi,

My site is almost W3C compatible, but Facebooks plugin breaks it. It says Bad value for attribute src on element script: Must be non-empty.

and it references this line of HTML code:

    e(js,ref);}(document));</script><script type='text/javascript' src=''></script>

I'm a noob, so please help me :-)

    Thanks in advance.

Yes, the method we use for async loading of JavaScript while still enqueing JavaScript in the WordPress way breaks HTML5 spec due to the empty src attribute. I have not yet submitted a patch to Core to make both ways work seamlessly.

Well, is the update coming anytime soon? I expect many more people will fuss over this? Or is there a way I can personally make it work? By removing some of the script?

This is still an issue in version 1.3.

Note that it is actually Yslow that complains here. Says older browsers will send a request to the homepage instead of just not minding the broken link...
