I received a developer email from Facebook:
Your app, XXX has not enabled the migration for the July 2013 Breaking Changes. […] XXX is currently using the following deprecated features:
    – Social Plugins (Like Button, Like Box) without absolute URL’s in their href parameter.
I assume SFC is not yet compatible with 2013/07 FBBC?
Will there be an upgraded version of SFC soon?
Thank you for the good work!

  • Same issue here. Thanks for the fix! In case you won’t publish a fix, could you please indicate how to change this in the code itself?

//edit : I guess this would be the bool $leavename = true option in get_permalink ? for instance in simple-facebook-connect/sfc-like.php. Would this also fix for the july migration of FaceBook? Or do they mean something different, when FB says “relative URL”?

Would be nice if there are updates in this. Quite frankly it is annoying that Facebook is puling this off.

SFC is fine and perfectly compatible. The “Fan Box” may stop working eventually, but then it should have stop working ages ago anyway.

Just go to your FB App and mark it as compliant. Nothing will break. SFC already uses absolute URLs for the href’s.
