When I go to this link https://www.facebook.com/HuntsvilleOpenTechCoffee it say the page does not exist. Are you sure you’re adding the proper fb group name?
Also this will not work locally, you must have it live on a server.

It is on a live server and it is actually a group instead of a page. Does that matter? My actual link has the word “groups” in it. “https://www.facebook.com/groups/HuntsvilleOpenTechCoffee/”

You need to put your group ID number in, not the actual name. Please see this post and see the second comment about converting the vanity name. That should do it!
