Facebook AWD "Illegal string offset"

Hi,

I’m not ready to update my wordpress as of yet. I have two websites running. A mirror, developer site, and the live site. I have redesigned my site on a developer site, and am in the process of transferring the new design to my live site.

Before updating wordpress, and all of the plugins on the live site; I intend to update on the developer site first. To make sure that there are not any problems, experienced by my customers, on my live site.

One of my navigation tabs is still redirecting to the developer site, as the live page is not ready yet. So I am not prepared to run the wordpress updates test on the developer site.

I am having an error with the “facebook log in,” feature of facebook AWD:

Illegal string offset ‘link’ plugins/facebook-awd/AWD_facebook.php on line 2446

Illegal string offset ‘link’ plugins/facebook-awd/AWD_facebook.php on line 2453

Illegal string offset ‘name’ plugins/facebook-awd/AWD_facebook.php on line 2453

I don’t know how to read PHP.

Can you tell me what is causing this error, if the update would fix it, or anything else about this that may solve the problem? The facebook app ID should all be configured properly as far as I can tell. This seems to be the only error with the plugin.
