• This one is driving me nuts! and everyone seems to solve it by just refreshing the page except me and I have tried in several different computers and browsers.

I run WP 3.3.1 and installed a Theme from Gorilla called SETLIST http://gorillathemes.com/setlist-wordpress-music-theme-for-bands/

I am using the Facebook and Twitter widgets to show both accounts in all the pages´ sidebars, however they only seem to appear on the Homepage, across all the site they just appear blank.

The sidebar file is the same and I haven’t change the page template at all.

The website where I am having the problem is:

    http://www.loscharlysmusic.com/

    Thanks for your help!

    Dan

  • As you are using a commercial theme, you need to seek support from the theme’s vendors.

    Sorry esmi,

Unfortunately I am not rich enough to afford the extra 20 dollars I needed to be considered worth of receiving help from Gorilla.

I thought that posting this question here could also be of help to many other people that may have the same issue with different templates, paid-for or free.

    Best

I’m sorry but we do NOT support premium themes as you paid for support when you bought the theme. It is not our place to keep theme vendors in business or deprive them of any income that they may derive from support services.

it does make perfect sense and I will bear that in mind for future questions. I don’t however think that my question is theme-specific though.

Let me see if I understand: No support at all will be given here to anyone using a commercial theme regardless if the question is theme-related or is WordPress in general?

    Thanks

Actually Dan, that is not what I got from esmi. Your question is regarding/about a widget that came with and is part of the commercial product you purchased.

She is saying that you have purchased a commercial product that is serviced by the developer(s), and that is where you can best seek assistance.

I tried to take a peek at your site, and it would not load for me. I am also not at all familiar with that theme or the people behind it, so I may not be of any help anyways. All I can say is that there are probably some basic theme settings allowing different widgets to be seen in different areas of the site. Check the theme setting and the widget setting.

I do understand dealing with a budget and that you do not want to pay additionally for the support. I would suggest using Google (or your fav search engine) for some potential answers if you could not find one by searching this forum.

It’s really very simple. We cannot download commercial themes to examine their template files. If the widgets you are using are not part of the theme, then start by switching to the Twenty Eleven theme. Then, we will know what you are working with,
