Facebook and Twitter Timeline

    Can anyone explain why both the Twitter Timeline and Facebook Like widgets function is so inconsistent?

    One day they work, then the next 3 days — nothing.

    Apparently, it is not a just Jetpack issue, as I have loaded a number of other widgets with the same blank boxes showing up on my sidebars.

    I realize that Twitter changed their API and dropped the previous API that worked so well. I have been able to restore some consistency of my twitter feed, but it’s a toss up whether it works every time my WP sites are visited.

    Facebook on the other hand, nothing since working the first day I employed the widget.
