    I updated jetpack and both twitter and facebook widgets are gone.I have spent several hours on this and am very frustrated. I used the plugings for social media sites through jetpack. They no longer appear to have these options at all. Am I missing something? Please help

    Sure! Sometimes widget settings are removed by a change like a theme switch. Could you let me know whether they disappeared from the widget area itself, or if they’re also missing from the Appearance > Widgets list. In other words, can you see them as options, like this?

    they seem to be missing from jetpack as well as the plugin and widget page. Maybe jetpack removed the wall feed and twitter feed. Strange thing is they haven’t disappeared from another site I was using them on (jimmyleslie.com) although I think I refused to update this site due to the problem.

    I do show that your site is not properly connected to our servers at WordPress.com. Could you disconnect and reconnect to your WordPress.com user account and see if that helps?

    To disconnect/reconnect Jetpack, go to Jetpack -> Jetpack in your site’s dashboard. Scroll down to the footer of that page to find the “Disconnect from WordPress.com” link as shown here: http://d.pr/i/10QE . Click that, then reconnect to WordPress.com when you see the button to do so.

    If that doesn’t help, can you post a screenshot of what your widgets list looks like and a screenshot of the Extra Sidebar Widgets module activated in your Jetpack -> Settings page?
