Facebook Ads Tracking (4 posts)

    Hi,

My client is using facebook ads to drive traffic and wnat's to keep an eye on the conversion rate.

Can someone advise where to add the facebook conversation tracking code (which like most should go into the <head> tags) so that it tracks a completed sale only - ie the 'thank you your order has been received page'.

I had a look at improvely for woocommerce but on to of the ads the client (at this stage) does not want to pay an additional fee to see the ad performance.

    Thanks!
    Clare.

I'm in the same boat, I added to the script section on the bottom of the "order received" page, but it's not dynamic. I feel like it should be easier to do this.

After beating my head against this for a couple hours a pretty stupid solution occurred to me and it ended up working.

Forget editing woo pages directly, simply go into the Pages pane in the WordPress control panel and select the - Order Received page. In the edit window, choose the "text" tab (rather than the "visual" tab) and above [woocommerce_thankyou] , paste the FB tracking code. Viola.

    Stupid, right?
