   I had trouble trying to install facebook 'like' buttons on my blog.

   I now have them (via Social Slider). I have eleven likes on one post but when I click on the facebook page there are none. I am really new to this and I cant see how they could be connected anyway! But what can I do to connect them so that the facebook likes show on the facebook page, surely this is the point and Im doing something wrong. Please help...

   that like box is to like a "link" or post not to like a fb page maybe thts why you are not getting likes on ur fb page

   Oh I see. But on the clicky stats page there were links to facebook and when I clicked on them I get this:-
   The page you requested was not found
   You may have clicked an expired link or mistyped the address. Some web addresses are case sensitive.
   Return home
   Go back to the previous page

   I have put the code in from facebook but they are not linked.

   Sorry by that I meant the secret Ad code or something like that.. I have a plug in social slider for the like buttons

   You should have a settings page where you specify which page to show the "likes" of.
   it should be in Settings>

   I have already clicked on this and dragged the facebook share button there not sure what else I can do to connect my page..

   So the like box is a widget? Is it a plugin you installed or are you pasting in the Facebook code from the developer.facebook.com site into a "Text" widget box? (screenshots might help)

   hostgator helped me with installing a plugin called 'social slider' I have the buttons now but dont know how to connect to facebook page from my site
