  • Ok I’ve got the ezstatic installed and plugin but having a few basic problems that I cant get my head round, new to WordPress you see.

1.I created my htm page and put it in my wordpress root directory, http://discogunk.co.uk/press/biography.htm. The “view source option” will let you know if my mark up is right or wrong.

How do I get Ezstatic to look at this page?

    2. How do I get these static pages to appear in my Categories menu?

    Thank you

  • index.php?static=biography

You can put the page in a links list but as far as I know, you can’t categorize them. Anyone know better?

Excuse this dumbass question but where do I put this?

    index.php?static=biography

Put the biography.htm file in the root directory where WP is installed. Then, to access that ezStatic page, put the ?index.php?static=biography tag on the URI.

For example, if your root wordpress is:
    http://discogunk.co.uk/press/

Put the tag in like this for the page:
    http://discogunk.co.uk/press/index.php?static=biography

    Does that help?
