I'm a nut about my security, to an extent. At least, I'm not too comfortable with the whole "not being able to rename wp-admin" as an option ;)

You would think that after all these years, this would be an option :/

I don't mean to dog on WordPress, I love the project, it'd just be a VERY useful feature.

Can somebody provide me with some ways to help secure the wp-admin directory a little more?

I don't want to single it to IP addresses, as there will be multiple bloggers, and a lot of them have dynamic IP addresses.

Can somebody point me in the right direction?

    Thanks!!

    -Nate.

Great, thanks for your help. Just using .ht files helps a lot ;) Extra level of security, ya know? You can never be too protected in an online world full of script kiddies.
