Extra image-only posts found in search

I’m finding lots of mysterious extra posts in the results when I do a search. They seem to be all photos only, no text. They’re usually duplicates of photos used in published posts. There are way too many to be accidental saves. They show up when logged in and logged out. In Manage, under Post Status, none of the radio buttons are selected.

I’m using 2.1.3 and the latest Search Everything plugin.
