Amazing plugin! The free version does BETTER what other paying plugin are currently offering. And I’ve tried a couple.

One thing. I’m playing with the options and so far everything is working out as expected.

When editing a jobs, in the “Files” tab, the user has the option to enter additional file paths to be included in the backup. It must be full path. I’ve tried, but each time I hit the save button, the path disappear from the field (unlike say, the field where the user must enter path to be excluded: those path remain in the field when the settings are saved).

I tried full path like so: /home/user/wp-config.php

I’m simply trying to backup my wp-config.php file which is not located in the root folder of my WordPress installation.

But aside from that, amazing plugin. Highly recommended.

    Hello,

the box is only for adding folder.

try the option ‘Include special files’ it backups wp-config.php to if it one folder higher.

Ah! I see! My bad: I didn’t realized it was for folder only.

And yes, fantastic, I see the option to “Backup wp-config.php, robots.txt, .htaccess, .htpasswd and favicon.ico from root.”. It’s checked for me. I’ll do a backup, download it and decompress it to see if it works.

Thank you very much. Again, amazing software. You were able to find simple solution to problems other paying plugins cannot overcome. Especially on the flexibility side: it’s really powerful.

    Have a very good week,

    P
