   I'm using this plugin to show single posts from specific categories on my homepage. Does anyone know if I can either only show the contents up to the More Tag (instead of full content) or some how display the article image with the excerpts?

   antoniamar, I use the plugin myself, and I don't think it's possible to do what you want with the plugin.

   Having said that, you can try the 'Post Image' plugin here — I think you'll find it quite useful.

   Thank you. I installed it but no image is showing. I put the tag <?php get_post_icon(); ?> in. Is there someplace special it is supposed to go. I don't know how to get it to interact with the Customizable Post Listings plugin.

   Stupid Me! Add the image tag to the excerpt.Then Customizable Post Listings plugin will show the image. Problem solved!
