I am currently searching for a way to import RSS from another blog (not running wordpress) periodically into a wordpress blog. the imported items (via RSS) should appear like normal posts.
i found a "wordpress-rss-import" plugin, which seems to to this task, but is quite old:
http://www.shearersoftware.com/software/web-tools/wordpress-rss-import/
another variant would be the "wordpress-to-rss aggregator" from laughingmeme.org
http://laughingmeme.org/archives/002203.html
- this seems to miss some features, like updated posts.
any ideas?
A paid solution: http://www.rsstoblog.com/
That site screams 'spam' all over it. But I've seen few screencasts that showed how to use the above script to post to one or more WP blogs automatically.
A similar free one: http://www.blogologic.com/
I'd be interested in other free alternatives as well.
You can try http://feeddigest.com
It converts RSS and ATOM into many formats including HTML, Atom, RSS, JS
do rss2blog work to display incoming feed as post so user can post comment ?
you want FeedWordPress or Reblog most likely -- you are looking for a reblogger, a script that pulls items from another RSS/blog feed and inserts it into your WP site as a post.
Found a plugin that pulls RSS feeds into posts: http://projects.radgeek.com/feedwordpress/
