External http requests

Can someone please help me out with identifying all external http or https requests made from a wordpress install.

My webhost is changing some firewall rules to block external requests from hosted sites and I don’t want to lose any functionality.

Obviously any content I post that embeds images or videos is affected, but I’m most interested in things like the WordPress announcements in the Admin area, any remotely hosted code, js or css and/or images etc.

A quick poll of the install files brings up the following,

http://planet.wordpress.org/
http://feeds.technorati.com/
http://www.w3.org/ ?

and (some) plugins using,

http://tinymce.moxiecode.com/
http://tinymce.moxiecode.cp/

Anything else? Any help here would be appreciated.

Obviously if the host isn’t willing to provide a workaround I’ll be jumping shiop real fast!
