Extending Mailpoet's capabilities

    I really need a way to extend the capabilities of Mailpoet so I can restrict one editor from being able to edit another’s newsletter. Which is possible for WP posts. I am using ‘User Role Editor’, but just adding a capability named something like ‘edit_others_newsletter’ would not help, right?

    I already voted up a similar request on Uservoice, but I need it as soon as possible. In fact I would hire a developer to customize this, if needed. So the question is: are you planning this feature in the near future? If not, maybe we could collaborate so you save time and get my much needed ‘capabilities’.

    Hi nhtvpostma,

    Unfortunately I don’t think that, with just another role it’ll help. This might require other fields on our database to control who created a newsletter and then create controls for that on our plugin. We haven’t plans to add this feature in the near future. I’m sorry, but you’ll have to get someone to do this for you. We always recommend the guys at http://codeable.io to do this kind of custmizations.
