Expound Theme Breaks Text Editor

Neither the default editor, Tiny MCE, or Ultimate Tiny MCE is showing WYSIWYG. For example, if I bold some text or italicize it, it does not show as bold or italic in the text editor when I am working from the Visual tab. When I click on Save Draft I can briefly see the bold/italic text in the editing window as it is refreshing but this is only for a fraction of a second. The text does show as bold or italic in the post when it is published.

I switched to the WP Twenty Fourteen theme and the problem was resolved.

Anyone know why Expound is doing this? Any solutions? I like the theme and I really don’t want to abandon it.
