Exporting Your Blogroll (4 posts)

(Yes, I know about the export tool. Nothing about exporting blogrolls there.)

There was once a simple, easy way to export your blogroll to your desktop, for later importation to another blog. What happened to it? I'd like to export my blogroll at the old Mythusmage Opines to the new Mythusmage Opines. That means exporting the file from the old site and importing it into the new site. How?

Visit http://yourdomain.com/wp-links-opml.php. Then use SAVE AS to save the output, then use Tools->Import->Blogroll to import the file you saved.

    or

Use Tools->Import->Blogroll in your new blog, and use http://www.oldblog.com/wp-links-opml.php in the Specify an OPML URL: field.

    Thanks for the link MichaelH.

This is exactly what I needed.

I used the link and this plugin "Import Blogroll With Categories" to make it an even easier process.
