Hi people, i´m in a terrible mess. I need to move a wordpress running site to a new domain and.. besides this the new server it´s one a different hosting. I´m used to work with joomla so i made basically the same steps, the problem was that when i click on a menu button to go to a page the link took me to the old site. Thanks to this tutorial (http://www.mydigitallife.info/how-to-move-wordpress-blog-to-new-domain-or-location/comment-page-6/#comment-931229) now the new site buttons doesnt connect to the old database, but now when i click on the button i get an error page "File not found" but if i mouseover on the button it points to the correct domain and url.
What am i missing ?
any idea ?

did you change urls in settings general and reset your permalinks

Posted 8 months ago #Do you have a link to the site? Has there been any change to the URL (say from site.com to site.com/wordpress?) that would need to be changed in the database?

You say that you are also switching domains? As in from olddomain.com to newdomain.com as well? Did you also update the database to reflect this change? If you have not, all the links to pages will link to the old site.

I went all over again through this tutorial(http://www.northernpride.com/blog/website-design/how-to-move-your-wordpress-site-to-new-server/) following the steps in order and now it´s working.
