I am using your plugin on my author site and am liking it so far. Since I currently have over 30 books, it took awhile to add them all to my site. I would also like to use this plugin on my publisher site and am wondering if there is anyway to export my book pages from my author site and import them to my publisher site to avoid having to create them a second time.

    Thank you!

We don’t have an import function currently. Tell me a bit about how you would like that feature to work. Do you have a CSV of all the books? Do you use Amazon BookLoader?

    hi,

Recently a french mybooktable user, like Shelley Hitz, i’d like to import many books.

I’m working with excel compatible files (even CVS files)

I’m trying to export books, modify xml file by using Excel, and import it in Mybooktable.

    Not so easy.
Is this function could be possible ?

    Many Thanks

What do you think about having an ISBN import of some sort? Would that make things easier?

    hi,

why not, but i think with a ISBN import, you can import only 1 book per import. no ?

My aim is to import many books (in my case, magazines).
    Thanks

For me, I was wondering if there is a way to export the book pages I created for one site and import them into another. Or would it work to copy/paste certain files via FTP from one site to another?

Otherwise, I have to spend hours again manually adding each book to my other site. I can do that but if there is any shortcut that would be great. 🙂

We don’t currently have any sort of automated import/export feature.

We have been thinking about adding one but we can’t seem to get a clear picture of what our users want. So far the requests for an import feature have all been different. Some want ISBN import/integration, some want BookLoader import, some want .csv support while others want to import/export from MBT to another instance of MBT on another site.

I’m not sure which functionality would be the most useful for the most users.

    hi,

i think a bookloader export/import should suit most people.
The big deal is to export/import many book in once action. (and not to do so as many time as there are books in database).

The normated format should be prehaps the best way ?
