    I am trying export all my post from wordpress.com but when I import the xml file in my new blog of wordpress.org it doesn't import all the posts. If I have 200 posts for example, it only imports 150 posts.

    And it doesn't import the cathegories. I don't know what is the problem. Someone has the same problem?

  2. How large is the export file? You might have to break it into 2 meg chunks or increase php memory or timeout limits.

    The importer has category problems: WordPress › Support » Lost Categories in Import of WordPress.com

    It only has 800KB, so... I don't know. I am going to read the problem of categories.
    Thanks!

  4. Try increasing the memory for PHP and WordPress by editing the memory_limit line in your php.ini (if you have access to it) to 64M:

    memory_limit = 64M;

    If no php.ini, or add this line at the top of .htaccess file:

    php_value memory_limit 64M

    If that doesn't work, add this line near the top of your wp-config.php file (right after the opening php )

    define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '64M');

    It is very rare, if I import the xml file sometimes matter 120 posts, sometimes 110, sometimes 140 ... but never the same number. It's very strange.
