Export a category to Excel? (5 posts)

We want to be able to export all of the posts from a single category to an Excel spreadsheet - one column for the title of the post, another column for the body of the post. Would need the ability to choose a date or range of dates. Any easy way to do this?

phpMyAdmin has the built in ability to export to an Excel CSV file.

    Also here's another possibility

Also, you could use an ODBC driver to access your WordPress files directly from Excel using a Query.

Ah, I should have been clearer - it needs to be easily done by someone with no access to the database itself, and no sql experience. They do have author-level access to the dashboard. So first preference would be a dashboard widget that lets them input a date (or range of dates) and spits out the data. Second choice would be an external URL that accepts dates, fetches it and spits it out in Excel-friendly format.

Did you find your answer? I'm looking for something that does this also
    for a non-profit group.

    THANKS!
