Explanation of links?

    Hi. I’m attempting to set up a link to a document that sits outside of WPPA, but still inside WordPress. I’ve tried the links within photos, but cannot get them to work. The link points to a Media file (Specifically a PDF).

    I presume the comment under the image link/URL which states “If you want this link to be used, check ‘PS Overrule’ checkbox in table VI.” refers to the PSO checkbox in settings > VI > B?

    Is there any other way to add a link? For instance, is there some code which would enable me to do this in the description?

    You can add normal html code like <a href="...">Download this!</a> in photo descriptions if Table IX-A1 ( Allow HTML ) is checked.

    Hello !
    I have the same problem, except that it doesn’t work even I check Table IX-A1 ( Allow HTML ).

    I tested also in “Link url” and in “Link title” in the image description, but it doen’t work 🙁
    I don’t see where is the “PS Overrule checkbox”… (and i don’t see it in table VI.)

    I would like to use the lightbox effet so I checked the box in Table VI > B > 2a,b,c,d Thumbnail : It doesn’t work.
    I also checked “the plain photo (file)” and activate my “lightbox 2” plug in, and it doesn’t work too 🙁

    Could you help me please ? Thank you

    Table VI header:

    Name Description Link type Link page New tab PSO Help

    Lightbox: you do not need a lightbox plugin. Just set ( or leave ) Table IX-A6 ( Lightbox keyname ) to wppa and select lightbox in Table VI.

    PSO Only works for the types of images where you check the box and, of course, you need to specify the link in the Manage Photos section of the edit album admoin page.
