   Hello

   I've migrated a WP blog to Webhostingbuzz - there was a problem with my old server/host. Consequetly, my blog was on a WP version called a Developmental Version: 3.1-RC3-17365.

   WP is now asking for me to upgrade on Webhostingbuzz to

   3.0.4

   - it runs - says it has installed but it doesn't.

   Webhostingbuzz are saying this is a WP issue, not theirs.

   I'm not technical, so can an expert please advise (step-by-step or point me to where this issue has been resolved previously)?

   If auto update does not work on your server, try manual update.

   Follow instructions of this guide: http://codex.wordpress.org/Updating_WordPress

   also, double check your wp-config.php file settings for the database name, database username, database password, database host name (generally it's "localhost" but could be something else on some servers).

   Thanks T-P, this using the manual upgrade as advices, I've updated to V 3.0.4.

   More work to do so more questions later.
