    Hey Folks,
I’ve been running a WordPress site for about a month now and I’m getting into the groove of blogging. My site is a personal blog with mostly my extended family as readers.

There is one thing that I’m struggling with in the setup and that’s expanding the role of Editor so my wife can edit my posts (I’m a bit comma happy).

I’ve downloaded several plugins to try out: Capsman, User Role Editor, and one other.

All of them report that the Role of Editor can Edit Others posts, Edit Others Pages.

Yet, when I try to edit existing posts from an editor account, I can only view and Trash. Anyone got some words of wisdom?

I don’t need anything fancy, just a way to allow my wife the ability to edit posts without giving her complete admin control over the site.

    Thoughts?
    -Tom

Solved my own problem. Exec-PHP was limiting the Editor Role. I disabled Exec-PHP and Editors can now edit all posts.
