   Does anyone know of a plugin that can do what this service does?

   I would rather no trust my feed to be routed through their button, so if I could just add a plugin and get the same result, then that would be great.

   No, that shares a post. It doesn't allow you to subscribe to the rss feed.

   Take a look at their javascript code:
   http://www.feedbutton.com/feedbutton.js

   It would not be difficult to modify that sort of code to make it work however you wanted it to work. Hmm. Might be an interesting idea for a plugin. I'll think about it.
