   You can view the website I'm working on at http://wellamiwrong.com

   The author is not displayed, and the entire post is showing up on the first page. Are there settings I'm just not seeing somewhere?

   Have you tried switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related issues?

   I just did, and it's showing up the same way.

   I'll leave it in the default theme - still not author or excerpt loading.

   http://wellamiwrong.com/ is not using the default theme at the moment.

   Not all themes display the author's details. The default theme doesn't. But you can edit the relevant theme templates files in your theme and add <?php the_author() ?> where you want the author's name to be displayed.
