• Hi
Since I have about 30000 posts and 70000 tags, I receive frequently the following error:
Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /wp-content/plugins/automatic-post-tagger/automatic-post-tagger.php on line 889

Is there something I can do about this? Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi, if this error shows up when using the bulk tagging tool you might want to decrease the “Number of posts tagged per cycle”.

    Hi
thank you for your response. I was not precise, sorry for that. The error occurs when saving a post. Number of tags is 13.

How many characters does the particular post have? How many user-defined keywords (tags with related words) are there? Do you use any unusual (non-default) settings?

2000 characters, I use the default settings.

And I have other problems. When I push “Assign tags” to re-tag all posts, the script stops after only one post. And when I save a post, it is no longer tagged. Strange, before it worked without problems.

Hmm, that’s strange. Have you tried deactivating all other plugins? To be honest, I have no idea what’s wrong with it – I could only guess.

(By the way, if all goes well, the version 1.6 should be released in a week or two. It’s faster than the previous version so hopefully it will fix the error you mentioned in the first post.)
