[resolved] Excluding front page from sidebar (3 posts)

I have been able to exclude specific pages from the sidebar using exclude.
However, I have set my Front Page to be a page (in Settings - Reading) but I cannot seem to exclude that page from the sidebar. Although it does not appear to have an ID number, the front page displays at id=0, but excluding page 0 does not remove it from the sidebar.

    Any ideas?
    Thanks

Have you tried the plugin ' hide pages or 'exclude pages'? It inserts a special tick box that will allow you to exclude it from navigation and then save...make sure you get the right version for your 2.5.1.

Do you mean you have set a page to be your front page in the reading settings? And that is the page you want to exclude?

The exlude-pages plugin does work for all pages.
Exclude does not seem to work for a page that has been set to be the front page.
