Excluding files from W3TC browser caching?

    I’m new to W3 Total Cache… I’ve searched and checked the FAQ but didn’t find an answer to this.

    I’d like to prevent mp3 files from being cached by visitors’ browsers. Is there anything W3TC is doing (in its default configuration) that would actually encourage browsers to cache mp3 files, and if so, is it possible to turn that off?

    I have other methods in mind to avoid the problem entirely, but wanted to check to see what W3TC is (or is not) doing already. It’s obviously a very advanced plugin and I’ll admit that I don’t completely understand everything it does.

    You can edit the “File types to import” field on the CDN Settings tab to make sure mp3s are not included in the browser cache settings for “other media”.
