Excluding Custom Post Types

    Just installed the plugin and I have to say I’m in love with it for allowing me to edit css and html, that is SO comfortable! I wish all plugins would be like this one!

    In any case, I have a custom post type called videos and I don’t wish it to have the author boxes. I’d be fine if the default would be not to display the author box, but it shows up in all my videos.

    Is there a way to disable the author box on videos but have it on my normal blog posts? If I disable posts on the general settings, it disables the author boxes from both my videos and my posts, so what’s going on here?

    Hmmm it shouldn’t show up on custom post types… Can you give me an example link?

    Anything Nick?

    On another matter, I noticed the author box css is found on every page on my entire website, why is that? Especially where it doesn’t apply, it just adds on the load time. Ya it’s a tiny amount but still that’s just a waste…

    I do see that it is displaying on custom post types, I’m looking into what can be done to fix it.

    Thanks for this lovely plugin.

    Not to put you on pressure, but I too need to exclude this plugin from custom post types 🙂

    Hopefully this feature will be included in the next release.

    Yeah… I just have not had much time to focus on coding, as I have a regular day job. But when I do have some free time I plan on addressing this.

    Nick? Anything?

    It’s been over a month and I would really like to use this plugin as I’m going to get an additional writer on my site. I simply can’t use it if the author bio appears on all my custom post types.

    Could you please address this issue with an update?
