excluding categories from index

    I’ve read pleny of examples on how to do it that are 7+months old
    Does anyone know how to do it with 1.5??????

    Do you want to exclude them from the Categories list, or do you want to exclude all posts from those categories?

    I want to exclude the posts in that category all together, and display them on a totally different page.

    same problem here i have a category i don’t want to show in the index page how must i do this?
