    Hello everyone,

I have a wordpress site that requires users to be on the local network or to log in to be able to access all content.

This set up is working fine, however I need to allow public access to a specific wordpress page.

I’ve tried the following in the .htaccess file:

    SetEnvIf Request_URI "^/external-test$" noauth=1

    Allow from env=noauth

but unfortunately it still takes me to the login page.

I then created a test.html file in the wordpress root directory and:

    SetEnvIf Request_URI "^/test.html$" noauth=1

    Allow from env=noauth

works as intended which makes me think that it might have something to do with how wordpress permalinks work.

If someone could suggest a possible solution I would be very grateful.

    Many thanks
