    Hi,

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

No, sorry, I’m not aware of a solution to that. As far as I know, only the header and the footer row are automatically excluded from the sorting. Can you maybe make that row with the totals the footer row?

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hi,
Unfortunately there is not a way I can set it up so that my totals are the footer row. I figured there may have been a way to do this similar to the column filter. Thanks for quick response.

    Hi Tobias,

I found this thread on datatables forum, and it is very similar to what I am looking for but am having a hard time trying to figure out if this would work for what we discussed above. Here is the link to thread, which is from a few years ago.

    Hi,

ok, that seems to be a rather complex solution, and I don’t even fully understand it 🙁
Integrating it into TablePress or an Extension would be pretty tough I think, so that the better approach should be to use this on a custom basis on your site.
That means: Let TablePress generate the HTML code for the table only, but do not use the DataTables functions that TablePress offers. Instead, load DataTables (and this new extra code from the thread) into the page manually, according to the DataTables documentation.
That’s the only idea I have here, sorry 🙁

    Regards,
    Tobias
