Exclude Parent Page From Displaying

I’d like to display the name of “parent” pages in the Nav Bar, but not have that “parent” page actually open (since I don’t want to have any content in it) when it is clicked on. I just want the “parent” page to appear as the name for that section of my blog so that the “child” pages will pop-up and can then be clicked on.

Any suggestions for doing this?
