Exclude Pages
Feature request] Tickbox in quick edit (17 posts)

    Hi Simon,

Thanks for this amazing little plugin. Love it!

Not sure if it's possible, but I think it would be absolutely awesome if a 'include/exclude pages' tickbox could be included in the quick edit for pages and posts.
Quite often I just want to quickly check what the status is and/or is that the only thing I'd be changing, so using quick edit instead of the full edit would be incredibly convenient!

    Thanks again!

    Smile,
    Juliette

Another great feature similar to this would be the ability to choose the exclusion from a custom field!

Ok, here goes.... I put my money (or rather my time) where my mouth is and created a version which includes this feature.

@johnflufin @natostanco would you be willing to test it and let me know whether you find any bugs ? Please mail me [@adviesenzo.nl], so I can send you a copy.

I would love to test your plug-in too, Juliette.
Right now, the Exclude Plugin palette does not appear in my WP 3.5.1 install so I'd love to try any updated version that could work.

    @A.Parikh you've got mail ;-)

I tested the plugin on a clean WP 3.5.1 install and didn't encounter any problems, so I hope it'll work for you too.

    Hey,

I would love to see function like this in bulk actions box. I have just added 128 pages to my blog at once. Now, I don't want them all in my menu so have to find a way to exclude them somehow (at once). Manually one by one isn't very time efficient LOL

@andrewkar hmm... might look into that at a later point. Would you like a copy of the beta version which has the quick edit for now ? At the very least it'll be quicker than having to use the full edit for 128 pages... ;-)
Mail me [@adviesenzo.nl], if you'd like a copy.

I would love to try out this plugin as well Juliette, if possible. The Exclude plugin isn't showing up in my page editor either and I would love to see if this would work.

    Hi from Russia.
Plugin doesn't work with pages that have ID over 2000. I create online store with a lot of goods. Then I decided to add a page. As usual I remove a tick in the box marked "Include this page in lists of pages", but the page does not disappear from the top menu.
    ID of this page 2187.

@johnnyBravoRad Unless you have been testing the new version this thread refers to, please open a new thread. Your issue has nothing to do with the topic being discussed here.

For anyone interested: I've uploaded the adjusted plugin to GitHub, so you can download it from there.
