Exclude folder from redirect (2 posts)

    Hi,

I have a question; I have a folder on my server that I use for giving links to people to download files, etc. Say for example website.com/clientdata and I might give somebody a link to website.com/clientdata/photo.jpg

However, when I send a link like that WP redirects to a Not Found page, even if the link is correct. I'm sure this has something to do with redirects, but I have no clue how to exclude 1 specific folder from the WP regime. My provider uses ISAPI for rewrites.

    Any thoughts on this?

    You may try:

-deactivating ALL plugins temporarily to narrow down and possibly fix the problem. If the problem goes away, activate them individually to find the culprit.

-if the problem does not go away, try switching to the default theme ("twentyten") for a moment by renaming your current theme's folder in wp-content/themes. The idea is to force WordPress to fall back to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific issue.
