Exclude category from archive page only

    Is there a way I can exclude certain categories and posts from showing on my archive page? i.e. slider and teasers. My archive page shows them and I’d like both removed.

    I’ve tested plugins but they remove them entirely everywhere.

    If the theme has not this option an you can’t find a plugin to handle this, I would go for making a child theme, and in the child theme change the wp_query arguments (in the archive.php file).

    But before starting with code, I would ask in the theme suport forum: http://organicthemes.com/support/
