Excerpts not showing on the front page (only full articles do)

    I putting excerpts in all my posts as I just want a list of titles and short summaries on the front page. However, only the full article shows.

    I’ve gone through all the options and tried several templates (including the two default ones) but can’t get anywhere on it.

    Any suggestions, please? The site is http://www.babelfishnews.com

    Regardless whether you type something in the excerpt field or not – they will show up ONLY if the template file (in this case the index.php from your theme) calls for the_excerpt instead of the_content.

    If there is nothing typed in the excerpt field – WP will create the excerpts, using the first 120 words of the post.
