Excerpts in Catagory / Archives in Twenty Fourteen

I’m running WP 3.9.2, Twenty Fourteen and I have a child theme.

I’m trying to show the post excerpts that I have created on my Catagory / Archive pages. I do not want show the full text of pages, just the excepts that I have created.

Does anyone know the syntax for doing this in Twenty Fourteen?

Or is there a plugin that I can try?
