excerpts from page

    Is it possible to pull elements from one page and have it appear on another?

    example:

    On the home page of http://manymutts.com at the bottom where the testimonial is, I would like to have it pull two or three more from the testimonial page.

    If anyone knows how to make that happen please let me know.

    There are lots of ways to do this, depending on exactly what you want.

    One suggestion would be to create a shortcode to pull excerpts from x number of recent or random posts, perhaps from a given category. Use the shortcode in any post you want to.

    I did look into shortcodes but couldn’t figure out how to pull it from a page instead of a post. I just decided to do it another way and the user will just have to enter the testimonial they want to appear in the region.
