In 2.5 the excerpt doesn't close tags, meaning that when I have an excerpt containing a long sentence with a </strong> at the end (cut off by the end of the excerpt), some of the other excerpts below that one end up being all in bold.
The_excerpt_reloaded can handle this. It's a shame the standard excerpt can't. Perhaps it's meant to and this is a bug? Or maybe it's an oversight?
